A modern reimagining would reunite longtime fans with the beloved park simulator while exposing it to a whole new generation of gamers. Physical copies are too primitive to run on modern PC setups, and it hasn't been available on Steam for years. Gamers haven't been able to revisit Zoo Tycoon for the better part of the decade. Unfortunately, the franchise became a shell of its former self and lost its way during the 2010s. Players could create the zoo of their dreams, building larger than live menageries full of captivating creatures from all over the world. The Zoo Tycoon series is undoubtedly the most successful RollerCoaster Tycoon spinoff, trading rollercoasters and bumper cars for exotic animals and wildlife exhibits. With Frontier resurrecting one of its beloved amusement park management simulation classics, fans are now hoping that Zoo Tycoon 2 will get a Complete Edition of its own.
The game successfully captures the essence that made the original game a runaway hit. RollerCoaster Tycoon fans were ecstatic when Frontier reunited them with RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 through a Complete Edition last summer.
